About the Speaker
Hal Bierman is the Nicholas H. Noyes Professor of Business Administration at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He has been at Cornell for over 50 years. Professor Bierman received his BS degree from the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis) and his MBA and PhD from the University of Michigan. He has received an honorary PhD from the University of the West Indies in recognition of the assistance he gave to that University. Professor Bierman has published over 30 books and 170 journal articles. Recently, a chair in corporate finance has been established in his name at the Johnson School. - Date/Time:
