CAAAN is the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a group of nearly 6,900 alumni volunteers worldwide who assist the Cornell admissions community in recruiting superior undergraduate applicants.
CAAAN members help to prospective students from the Greater Capital District discover more about university life and the rich opportunities Cornell offers that this offers. CAAAN members participate in College Fairs, Cornell Prospect Information Meetings, meetings with applicants, and a Send-Off picnic each summer for students who have enrolled at Cornell.
Meetings with Applicants
CAAAN members meet with applicants, to personalize the application process. also conducts an interview program. This gives applicants the opportunity to shake hands with alumna and hear their university experiences. This alumni group is interested in helping gain a good match for those desiring a Cornell experience. And, they love to speak about the origins of campus learning that continues to help us in life today.
